A Million Wedding Moments

Zola wanted to focus on the little things about weddings - the excitement and anticipation, the big, awkward multi-family portraits and the tiny glance between partners during the ceremony, the secret pre-wedding drinks and the late-night pizza party, the things that inevitably go wrong and the things that turn out better than expected.




And so we went about not just planning the shoot - but for all intents and purposes, planning a whole wedding.




Looking back, it really is beside the point that no one actually got married during the shoot, because everything else that happens at weddings, happened. We brought together a huge group of people that will never all be together again.




We created a beautiful environment where people got all dressed up to celebrate love. We made a million memories with a group of remarkably delightful people. And sure, yes, fine, we cried several times at a fake wedding.
