Boom! That’s a Tee!

TeePublic sells graphic tees with designs for just about every interest. With more than a million options, It’s almost like you can type anything at all into the search bar and, well, “boom, that's a tee.” Like that our concept was born. Combine a bit of 90s nostalgia, in an off-brand alternate-reality, and you’ve got yourself a modern infomerical. 




This approach doubled down on TeePublic's core message: “If you love it, it's on a tee.” Bringing to life an absurd world of humor, utilizing bold colors and characters, aiming to create a memorable commercial spot that would feel right at home alongside any Saturday morning cartoon.






A spirited spokesman yells from the TV, encouraging customers to search for anything their minds can think of. And behold, it’s on a shirt! The clothing magically materializes in the bedroom, akin to a genie fulfilling wishes. Because with TeePublic, it’s that easy. 




From the original t-shirt designs to the bedroom reminiscent of your late great aunt’s house, we worked with a skilled team of designers and set builders to craft this world. By rigging practical effects to capture campy effects in-camera, along with the over-the-top acting, our aim was to create an unusually nostalgic feeling of a time past.
